Color Is My Weapon

Hey Everyone!

Lo and behold, we finally got around to posting a new OOTW
Things have been pretty hectic lately with JACK juggling thesis, events, business, and our ever present schoolwork.

Anyway, you might all be wondering why today's post is called "Color Is my Weapon"
It's actually the name of the make-up workshop we attended last July 27!
Strangely for a group into fashion, we're pretty clueless when it comes to make-up.
So when we found out that the awesome vlogger Noe Villagonzalo
of Color is my weapon was holding a Beauty Boot Camp workshop,
we decided to give it a shot!

And aren't we glad we did! We learned a lot of subtle and useful make up tips, from how to contour to what kind of makeup suits different face shapes. Here are a few of our BTS pictures of the event :)

The entire group with the lovely Noe :) We did the makeup by ourselves! Watcha think guys?

Noe showing us how to do eyebrows, Hi C! ;)

Here are a couple of shots taken during the workshop:

Noe is having another batch for the Basic Make Up Workshop on August 31, so go on and visit her facebook page!

After all that, we HAD to do an OOTW!
Unfortunately, K couldn't take the workshop with us cause she had to take care of loads of schoolwork. :(
But she managed to catch up afterwards, yay!
Here's our "Color is My Weapon" looks

Grey, blue, white and a whole lot of black!

Julia:

J went for an all black ensemble.
Black leather bag, short black lace dress, and dress boots to match
Call her anything but goth
she prefers the term "boho-grunge" ;)

Andrea:

A as usual rocking her look
the casual shirt and shorts combo looking spiced up
with a great, ferosh pair of Topshop shoes!

Charmaine:

C was the bright spot, in our dark dominated scheme
Looking ever so pretty with her distinct chic style
She wore white sandals, a grey denim dress (which we all wanted by the way)
and a blue open polo for a more laid back look.

Kirah:

Kira blew us away with her OOTD
She didn't need the makeup tutorial at all
(her naturally pretty face did the job)
A dark forest green maxi-skirt with a black off shoulder top from C's online shop
paired with bright blue flats that brought a playful pop of color!

We'll be posting a lot more often (hopefully)
since some of us have a lot of time on their hands ;)
So stay tuned!
